Unpacking Downward Facing Dog through Experiential Anatomy

  • The People's Yoga (Mississippi + NE Locations) (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Join Wendy and Suniti Dernovsek for an in-depth experience with downward facing dog. We will embody our skeletal structure to understand its role in this foundational asana. By virtue of the bones knowing themselves, alignment becomes dynamic—not a formula, the complexity of form clarifies. We will learn to reference our personal experience and develop a sense of one's own body. Through movement, models, pictures, and touch students will bring clarity to downward facing dog. What is discovered can be applied to a wide range of poses.

Cost: $40/class | $140/4 classes
Saturdays: 2:00 - 4:00 PM (May 13 & 20th; June 3 & 10)
May 13: Mississippi Location: 855 N. Failing St. | All other dates: 3016 NE Killingsworth St.
